A late 1920s view of the band enclosure, today the Lido. The new band enclosure was built in 1925 6 to replace the birdcage bandstand that had previously occupied the site. Three years later, the bandstand with the angular roof seen in this photograph was replaced by the circular bandstand that stands inside the Lido today
